Arrrhhh, it nearly Xmas, spent the last few days putting up my Xmas lights, will take a photo once they are all done.

Today I ventured to Bunnings and bought all the bits and peices to make myself a Water Feature, need to do a bit of refinement but should be up and running by next week.

At long last this government has done something decent. Iranian asylum seeker Ebrahim Sammaki, whose children have been stranded in Indonesia since the death of their mother in the Bali bombing, was yesterday granted a visa on compassionate grounds, allowing the family to be reunited. Well, what goes around comes around. Riley and I ended up with the "Camp Virus" on Monday night. Yesterday was Melbourne Cup Day the race that stops a Nation, well it stopped me as I spent the day on the lounge watching Race after Race, very boring. Riley was lucky and backed the winner Makybe Diva, all based on very scientific reasoning, she likes number 12.

Today was my day off, I spent the day mostly in the garden weeding the grass ;-)).

Last night was what could be termed the night from Hell. Jarrod had a mate stay over, as both of them had been at the beforementioned camp, they both came down with the Camp virus and I had 2, 11 year olds up at 3am throwing up all over the place. Well today was spent cleaning up.


I felt that tonight I needed a bit of a rest so I went looking for a DVD to watch, I ended up hiring About Schmidt starring Jack Nicholson. It was a feelgood movie and once again Jack Nicholson proved himself one of the great actors of our time.

Well the child arrived home safely yesterday to sub artic weather that has decided to envelope Melbourne, god it so COLD!!!
Last night I decided to have a quiet night at inexpensive night at home, well I suppose it was quiet but it was expensive. Virgin Blue Airlines decided to have a ticket sale which saw airfares to Sydney reduced to $39 up until June next year, well as you would, I then proceeded to book flights to Sydney for the games against the Western Bulldogs and Collingwood in May and June WOOO HOOOOOO!
